Let me just say I've been a freelance writer for many years, writing articles, blogs and reviews on literally everything..  including healthcare, food, travel and services..

After moving to TN in 2014..  I found myself searching for service providers in everything from healthcare to auto care... and after settling into my apartment I looked for what was available in restaurant delivery services.. ultimately having to settle for the typical go to places pizza and Asian food.. However over the past few years there has been a dramatic change in delivery services available.. For example in 2017.. I found Blueraiderfood and literally leaped for joy at the ability to get more than the typical food delivery... In fact they quickly stated they were a growing local delivery service that would be adding more and more eateries as time went on.. and they definitely have.. I still order from Blueraider but after wanting more choices in cuisine I finally started to order from GrubHub one of their competitors.. and I can honestly say they definitely have some stiff competition.. and not for any other reason than they both are fighting for essentially the same patrons..

However in my opinion they both are equal opponents.. after all there are plenty of eateries for them to share.. and I know there are other delivery services available in the area as well..Look I am a shopper and if one has a coupon..or I am looking for a certain cuisine.. it just depends on what I am looking for as to which one I will order from.. both have equally as nice delivery people.. both are pretty much equal on service fees.. and from a patron that has spent definitely more than I need to on food delivery I will continue to use them both..

I also want to offer a quick review on InstaCart.. For a long time now I have been using Kroger's Clicklist pickup service and will honestly continue to do so.. after all I live next to Kroger's and it is very easy to use .. quick.. and even though you pay a small shopping fee.. it is worth it considering when I did my own shopping I always spent more than I needed by impulse buying

However recently due to sickness and weather decided to use InstaCart grocery delivery.. and I have only used it twice..but I think it is great as well.. and again just as in restaurant delivery it definitely has a place in today's society.. After all it is 2019 people..

I am certain some people would say services like this are just services based on convenience and I am not going to disagree..  there is a lot to be said for the convenience factor..but it is so much more.. lets say your sick, the weather is horrible, elderly, or perhaps you have only one vehicle and the spouse needs it for work... there are a lot of reasons why a customer might need one of these services.. and I for one welcome the benefit..

I can remember years ago having my groceries or prescriptions delivered was thought of as literally a service that a customer might receive during extreme circumstances.. and a lot of it was based on the circumstances or availability of delivery personnel.. For example I lived in a small town that would deliver if there was anyway possible to shut in, the elderly or someone who had medical issue..

At least for me having delivery services available is a great thing and a service that is here to stay..

Delivery Service Upgrade

No matter where you live whether in a big city or a small town, I think everyone has ordered food delivery at one time or another. However most of us if asked about their history with food delivery would immediately think Pizza.  I know I am 58 years old and I can remember when there was really no such thing as food delivery unless you counted a country store or a small pharmacy that knew you personally and perhaps during sickness would run your items to you as a courtesy.  I can remember back in the early 80's moving to a slightly bigger city than my hometown and ordering my first home delivered pizza, mind you the city was nothing as large as Nashville or Murfreesboro but I was hooked immediately.

Lets face it everyone of us has drove home at one time or another only to find either we have nothing in the fridge unless we are going to eat cold cuts or we have to get creative and cook something in order to feed our hungry families. So thank goodness for food delivery, whether it was pizza, Chinese or some other food choice from a local eatery it was a welcomed option for the weary.

Times are changing however and while you can still order from the standard go to places, food delivery has literally exploded over the past few years.  After all more people, more traffic, the request for more choices in food delivery was inevitable and hence food delivery businesses begin to pop up especially in bigger metropolitan areas that would deliver from a variety of restaurants.

When contacted Lee Cullom owner of Blueraiderfood stated simply, As Murfreesboro is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. (in its population range), the market was being under-served by California based companies with high overhead. So, we saw an opportunity to create an operation that could be managed locally, offer superior customer service and lower price point in the "Boro". We figured that people in Murfreesboro would especially not want to pay for California's state income taxes when having food delivered to their doorstep.

After opening on May 2nd, 2017, we have grown to > 100 orders per day through our website and apps in the Play Store and iPhone store, which puts us in the list of fastest-ever growth ever in cities @ 100,000 population for RDS (Restaurant Delivery Services). So, we’re doing great thanks to people like you!!

I have lived in Murfreesboro TN for over three years but when I found Blueraiderfood online I was overwhelmed at not only the variety of restaurants in which to order from but the user friendly ease of the site, and the speed of delivery.  Furthermore, I can attest that Blueraiderfood personnel have to be the most friendly and courteous people I have seen in food delivery.

Blueraiderfood may not be the first food delivery business or the last in Murfreesboro TN however in my opinion it is truly the BEST!
